Description
Our Roma Goat leather possesses unique qualities that distinguish it from others. Sourced from the finest global goatskin selection by Steve Siegel himself, this leather exudes a rare blend of excellence and charm. The production process begins with an initial tanning using Tara at its original location. The leather is then shipped to a distinguished tanner/finisher in the EU, where it is meticulously re-tanned in Sumac and finished with a delicate pigment coat.
While this leather easily passes the dry rub test, it intentionally falls short in a wet rub test – a design choice intended to enhance its water-absorption capabilities. This feature makes it suitable for sophisticated tooling with gold leaf and albumen. The shrinking process of the grain brings out a pebbly texture, adding to the allure of its surface.
The Roma Goat skins are typically clean, measuring an average of 6-8 square feet, and having a substance thickness of 0.7-0.9mm.
We eagerly anticipate your positive feedback.
