    Easily pares, takes gold leaf with albumen  (acid test for bookbinding leather),  easily tools,  covers,  etc.   These are low grades.  Use for spines,  corners,  partial bindings,  overlays, inlays,  hone your skills

    The leather is full grain (according to classical definition- one can see the grain).  There are no manipulations.   Lab tested to be vegetable tanned, metal- free …   Made specifically for bookbinding.
